Changi (East)

Changi (East) Singapore Changi Airport - Phoenix Returning To Its Nest

Today, Singapore Changi Airport is a world-class airport and has earned universal recognition. The feng shui of Changi Beach and Singapore Changi Airport's land can be deemed phoenix returning to its nest. No matter where one goes, one will eventually return home. It has been recorded that a phoenix land should have the sound of a flute playing so as to lure the phoenix. Once, on a visit to Zhengzhou in China, I came across a flute land with a row of eight wells built one to two metres apart. Nearing these wells, I could hear the whistling of the wind coming from the bottom of the wells, sounding like a flute. The wells were dry then. However, according to the villagers living nearby, this whistling sound could be heard even in the past when the wells were filled with water.

In feng shui study, this whistling sound is not only heard on the flute land, but also on the phoenix land. In Singapore, this soothing and pleasant sound can be heard at the Tanah Merah Country Club and the Safra Resort and Country Club.

The dragon, phoenix, turtle and unicorn are the four celestial creatures. The dragon brings about changes, the phoenix restores order, and the turtle predicts both good and bad fortunes and the unicorn displays benevolence. A phoenix land resting on a dragon's head is bound to see many changes but progress will be smooth and order will be restored.

Singapore Changi Airport is constantly reinventing itself for the better, welcoming tourists from all over the world. With its flawless systems for handling cargo and passengers running like clockwork, both Terminals One and two are on the lips of all foreign visitors - a sure sign of its excellent feng shui location. In time to come, with the completion of Terminal Three and the link to the MRT network, the future of Singapore's aviation industry will soar to greater heights!
